About This Game

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for Nintendo Switch (NSP ROM) is an action fighting game developed by Bandai Namco and Sora Co., Ltd. A successor to Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, it is the fifth game in the Super Smash Bros. series. The game has a traditional structure: players control one of several characters to defeat and knock out their opponents using various tactics.

The game includes multiple game modes, including single-player and multiplayer. Ultimate features over 80 heroes, including all of the original Super Smash Bros. characters. Popular Nintendo character names have been used for characters from other game series, and the game has the potential to add new features, including more heroes, after release.

Gameplay – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate NSP ROM XCI

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a fighting game playable with up to eight players, where characters from Nintendo games and other series compete to eliminate each other from the ring. Each player’s chance of being hit is determined as a percentage, making them more vulnerable on the battlefield.

Battle modes are generally based on one of three approaches: Time Trial, a mode where players try to accumulate as many points as possible by defeating their opponents within a certain time; Health, a mode where players have a limited number of lives and try to survive until the end; and Energy, a mode where players must reduce the enemy’s health to zero. Players can change the game rules as they wish and save them for use in later games.

Souls – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate NSP ROM XCI

In a typical Souls battle, players face off against Pokémon Enseenware inspired by Tom Nook from the Animal Crossing series. Another set of modes is based on a new mechanic called Souls, which replace the collectible rewards from previous games. Each Soul, inspired by a character from another universe, can be used to grant the fighter unique abilities. These abilities can be used to fight against human or computer-controlled opponents and gain more lives.

Players obtain Souls through challenges known as predefined Soul Battles; Here, a Soul appears as one or more in-game fighters or a stage-specific effect. For example, in the Soul Battle to obtain the Flying Dragon Pokémon Raikuza, players need to defeat a giant version of Ridley with added wind effects.
