The Incredibles are back after a 14-year hiatus, and this time in LEGO form! (Okay, I admit, not exactly LEGO Alf, but it does the job.) I think The Incredibles is one of Pixar’s most underappreciated films, and the instant box office success of the sequel seems to finally be giving it the recognition it deserves. LEGO has always been open to new opportunities, and it seems ready to capitalize on the success of The Incredibles 2 and explore Disney’s licensing rights; rights that seem to have been underutilized.
My wife and I recently watched The Incredibles Part 2, and here are my thoughts: If you liked the first movie, this sequel continues the story and is one of Pixar’s best films. Besides enjoying the movie, I was also very excited to play the LEGO Incredibles game. LEGO Incredibles is the first LEGO game to use Disney’s licensing rights without being tied to Star Wars or Marvel, and therefore the first animated game. Playing The Incredibles immediately sparked my interest in exploring future LEGO Disney games.
