Drill Core Switch (NSP ROM XCI) is an adventure game that takes players to a world where every decision matters. Players must balance resource gathering and survival while constantly avoiding external threats. The game fully utilizes the Switch’s capabilities, providing seamless transitions between TV and portable modes. Three distinct environments Caves, Snow World, and Forest—offer a variety of challenges, from rugged terrain to unexpected enemies and dangerous situations.

Drill Core is a resource management strategy game with tactical combat, and both aspects fully utilize the Switch’s versatile control capabilities. The game controller provides the precision needed for complex mining operations, while the Joy-Con controllers offer intuitive control for quick decisions during alien attacks. The randomly generated map system ensures each mission is unique, and the Switch’s portability allows players to play the game in short or long sessions.
