From the beginning, I was fascinated by Madeleine’s captivating personality and quickly fell in love with her enchanting world. I was also amazed by Celeste’s compelling and thought-provoking story, which addresses the pressures of modern life. The game’s pixel art style creates a visually vibrant yet classic experience. From snowy forests to mysterious caves, every scene on Azure Mountain is meticulously crafted. The original music by composer Lena Rein is another highlight of the game.

Celeste NSP is incredibly easy to learn; it requires only three buttons and a joystick, joystick pad, or analog stick. You can jump, move in eight directions, climb walls, and move up and down within a set time. While these movements are easy to learn, they require precise control. Subtle changes in jump angle or key sequence can significantly affect your final position. These changes range from simple jumps to more complex maneuvers, such as quickly walking along a wall and then precisely jumping to gain height. Even better, I not only mastered these skills, but I also improved upon them.

Celeste is available in NSP and/or XCI formats for Nintendo Switch CFW consoles and is also compatible with leading Nintendo Switch emulators on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android.
