Steamboat Incident Switch (NSP ROM XCI) is a 3D survival horror game set on a steamboat at sea. You’ve been abducted by a mindless monster after more than 95 years of captivity.
Upon waking, you find yourself trapped, and must explore the ship’s narrow passages and rusting decks in search of clues, tools, and a way to escape. The game immerses players in a suffocating nightmare where every creak of the floor and every breath can mean the difference between life and death.
The story begins with your character waking after being abducted by a demonic entity that has been imprisoned for over 95 years, its mind shattered by decades of confinement. The steamboat itself is a character: a dilapidated relic of a bygone era, filled with secrets, hidden parts, and echoes of past victims. As you explore the ship, the atmosphere oscillates between terrifying silences and sudden bursts of terror. The presence of the monster can be sensed through distant sounds, quick footsteps, and fleeting glimpses of a shell-covered figure lurking in the shadows.
