SUPER BOMBERMAN R 2 for Nintendo Switch (NSP ROM) is an action-adventure game for the Nintendo Switch, offering new adventures and gameplay modes. It’s the most content-rich game in the series.
Believe it or not, when the Switch launched, only a handful of games were available in physical copies. Today, there are thousands. Super Bomberman R was one of them. If you bought it at launch, it wasn’t the worst decision, but the content was limited, and the hastily added single-player mode was repetitive. The price was a bit high, but that was the price of launch. We’ll have to wait until 2021 to see another Bomberman game on the Switch.
The highlights of R2 are its new story mode and the main multiplayer mode, Fortress. Now, when I hear people talking about Bomberman and its story mode, I completely understand. I can hear your grumbling: you probably won’t buy Bomberman for its story, and you can ignore it if you want. The story is told through 2D cutscenes with original voice acting from the Bomberman Brothers. The universe is under attack from the Black Moon, and the brothers head towards Fulvita, the home of the Elons.
Switch games are playable on PC using emulators like Yuzu or Ryujinx.
