About This Game

Stray Switch NSP ROM XCI is an indie game project that launched in late 2015 under the codename HK_Project. After more than seven years of development, the game was officially released on Windows PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. After a wait of more than two years, a Nintendo Switch version is also available. As usual, the game can be downloaded for free here.

Stray tells the story of a cat who accidentally falls down a sewer pipe and finds herself in an underground city. What makes this city unique is that its inhabitants are only robots, “friends” of humans. Why are they trapped here? What is above ground? Why are these robots afraid of a creature called Xorx? Our cat has a robot friend named B-12, and together they try to find the answers to these questions and return to the human world.

Stray features excellent simulation of the cat’s fluid movements. Your cat moves with incredible agility, thanks in large part to the game’s “cheats” to help you. Crossing beams or pipes is incredibly easy; you don’t need to maintain your balance; the cat will automatically jump perfectly. Jumping is also easier than ever. To jump somewhere, simply look at where you want to land, press button A, and the cat will jump there automatically.
