Pokémon Legends: Arceus NSP ROM Switch XCI is an outstanding Pokémon RPG game for the Nintendo Switch. Explore diverse environments, engage in epic battles, and discover new Pokémon to catch and train. It represents the boldest and most exciting direction the series has taken in a long time, and the result exceeds all expectations.

The game is incredibly immersive and well-designed, and it doesn’t rely on cutting-edge graphics. However, a game like Pokémon Legends needs more than what the Switch offers, at least in part. I think this is largely due to Game Freak. Fans will say they’ve never seen anything like it before, but in 2022, this low quality is unacceptable. As many Switch players have pointed out, many other games on the console have good, even stunning graphics, given the system’s technical limitations. The best example is Breath of the Wild’s vibrant art style, which fully utilizes the Switch’s capabilities.

On the other hand, Pokémon Legends: Arceus completely lacks art style. The environments are harsh, ugly, and empty. Character models are barely acceptable, sticking to the cartoonish style of Pokémon and Trainers, nothing more. Both urban and wild environments are completely unacceptable, and no new gameplay mechanics can improve the situation.
